NYU Student Animal Legal Defense Fund does not prompt users of its Web site who only view the various Web pages that make up the site for personal information. However, information that is automatically sent from users' Web browsers, such as their Internet protocol addresses, domain names and Web browser types, is automatically recorded. The individual Web pages users view, and the times at which users begin and end sessions, are also automatically recorded.

Only the e-mail addresses of individuals wishing to receive e-mail regularly sent out by NYU SALDF and the names and e-mail addresses of persons who make use of NYU SALDF's online "Contact NYU SALDF" form are collected. No other personal information is collected.

NYU Student Animal Legal Defense Fund does not sell or distribute any of the information collected via its Web site to third parties. The information is kept strictly confidential. However, if NYU SALDF is required by law to disclose the information for some reason, it will do so.

NYU Student Animal Legal Defense Fund takes all reasonable and appropriate measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of information. However, inadvertent disclosures inconsistent with the NYU SALDF privacy policy may result, for example, due to a third party's misrepresentation.

NYU Student Animal Legal Defense Fund offers numerous links to other Web sites in order to provide users with additional information. The NYU SALDF privacy policy does not apply to those sites, and NYU SALDF is not responsible for information collected by their administrators.
